VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – Inside an environmental enclosure at Vandenberg Air Force Base's processing facility in California, the turnover rotation fixture has been removed from around NASA's Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array, or NuSTAR, following its mating to an Orbital Sciences Pegasus XL rocket. The turnover rotation fixture was used to rotate the spacecraft into a horizontal position and supported it during mating operations.
