CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At the Shuttle Landing Facility, or SLF, at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, space shuttle Discovery rolls past the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft with which it will be mated. Discovery will be hoisted onto the SCA with the aid of a mate-demate device.
