About this work
NEW YORK – Cranes and other equipment wait as NASA's shuttle carrier aircraft and space shuttle Enterprise are moved into place so the shuttle can be taken off the top of the aircraft. The work took place at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. Enterprise, a prototype built to test aspects of the space shuttle design, will be displayed at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York.
