CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – The high-fidelity space shuttle model passes by the Launch Complex 39’s Pad A as it departs NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida by barge for Space Center Houston, NASA Johnson Space Center’s official visitor center. Kennedy’s Launch Complex 39 is where the shuttles were processed and launched. The model was built in Apopka, Fla., by Guard-Lee and installed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in 1993.
