CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – A tugboat pulls the barge transporting the high-fidelity space shuttle model through the turn basin into the Banana River at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on its way to Space Center Houston, NASA Johnson Space Center’s official visitor center. The model was built in Apopka, Fla., by Guard-Lee and installed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in 1993.
