CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – The high-fidelity space shuttle model approaches the lock at Port Canaveral as it departs NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida by barge for Space Center Houston, NASA Johnson Space Center’s official visitor center. The model was built in Apopka, Fla., by Guard-Lee and installed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in 1993.
