CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Crawlerway fines, rock crushed by the weight of the crawler transporter, is trucked in for the foundation of the hazard field for NASA’s Project Morpheus lander near the Shuttle Landing Facility at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Testing of the prototype lander has been ongoing at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston in preparation for its first free flight.
