CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Inside the RLV Hangar near NASA Kennedy Space Center’s Shuttle Landing Facility, or SLF, in Florida, flight instructors from Florida Tech, FIT, in Melbourne, listen to NASA Aviation Safety Officer Joe Torsani and view a NASA Huey helicopter. At left, in the red shirt is Glenn Vera, director of FIT Aviation. The flight instructors and their students arrived at the SLF in Cherokee Warrior and Cessna 172S lightweight aircraft.
