CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – While wearing a safety harness, United Space Alliance aerospace technician Greg Smith checks equipment during weight and center of gravity checks on the space shuttle Endeavour in Bay 2 of the Orbiter Processing Facility at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The work is part of Transition and Retirement of the remaining space shuttles, Endeavour and Atlantis. Endeavour is being prepared for public display at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
