CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, aft skirts for space shuttle solid rocket boosters are being loaded on a truck. A twin set of space shuttle solid rocket boosters and an external fuel tank are being prepared for transport to separate museums. The solid rocket boosters, or SRBs, will be displayed at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
