CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – As the space shuttle Endeavour was prepared to back out of Bay 2 of the Orbiter Processing Facility at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, it was equipped with a custom-made shuttle spinner wheel created out of cardboard and silver tape and signed by the crew of STS-135. Endeavour will be moved to the Vehicle Assembly Building to undergo final preparations for its cross-country ferry flight targeted for mid-September.
