CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Kennedy Space Center employees and guests gathered for a brief ceremony on Aug. 31, 2012 honoring Neil Armstrong, who died Aug. 25, 2012 at the age of 82. Armstrong was hailed by Center Director Bob Cabana as one of our heroes and a truly a great American. Cabana placed a wreath near a replica lunar module at the spaceport's Apollo-Saturn V Center.
