CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - At NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, workers prepare to load the movable launch platform for the Project Morpheus lander onto a flatbed truck for its move from the midfield to the north end of the Shuttle Landing Facility, or SLF. Testing of the prototype lander has been ongoing at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston in preparation for free flight. The lander is scheduled for delivery to Kennedy in October.
