About this work

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - At NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, workers release the movable launch platform for the Project Morpheus lander from the crane used to position it on its new site adjacent to a hazard field created to support the project at the north end of the Shuttle Landing Facility, or SLF. Testing of the prototype lander has been ongoing at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston in preparation for free flight. The lander is scheduled for delivery to Kennedy in October.
