CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At NASA’s Protective Services Training Academy at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, members of the Emergency Response Team, or ERT, participate in specialized training simulations in order to keep their skills current. They are wearing full protective gear and carrying non-lethal firearms, which are denoted in blue, for the training exercises.
