TITUSVILLE, Fla. – Under the watchful eyes of United Launch Alliance engineers and technicians at the Astrotech payload processing facility in Titusville, the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite, or TDRS-L, spacecraft is being encapsulated in its payload fairing. It is about to be lifted by crane for mounting on a transporter for its trip to Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
