About this work

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Mechanics and engineers ready a Hennessey Venom GT for test runs on the 3.5-mile long runway at the Shuttle Landing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The flat concrete runway is one of the few places in the world where high performance automobiles can be tested for aerodynamic and safety designs. Hennessey Performance of Sealy, Texas, worked with Performance Power Racing in West Palm Beach to arrange use of the NASA facility.
