SAN DIEGO, Calif. – At the U.S. Naval Base San Diego in California, NASA Public Affairs Officer Amber Philman describes the Space Launch System and Orion spacecraft to visitors during an outreach event at the naval base. The USS Anchorage is being prepared for the Orion Underway Recovery Test 2. The Orion boilerplate test vehicle and other hardware will be loaded into the well deck of the ship and head out to sea in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego.
