CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, United Launch Alliance technicians transport the second stage of a Delta IV Heavy rocket to the Horizontal Integration Facility at Space Launch Complex 37. The second stage then will be mated with the Delta IV Heavy booster stages in preparation for the unpiloted Exploration Flight Test-1, or EFT-1. During the mission, Orion will travel farther into space than any human spacecraft has gone in more than 40 years.
