CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Inside a laboratory in the Space Station Processing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Dr. Takeshi Kobayashi, at left, an assistant professor at Nagoya University in Japan, and Dr. Toko Hashizume, an engineer with AES, prepare samples for the Cell-Mechanosensing 2 experiment for the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. The experiment is one of many that will be delivered to the International Space Station on the SpaceX-4 commercial cargo resupply mission.
