CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Inside the Vehicle Assembly Building, or VAB, at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, portions of the catwalks on the east and west sides of Level 16 have been removed by crane and are being placed on the east side for storage. The catwalks were removed to allow room for the removal of the 175-ton crane that is situated above the transfer aisle.
