About this work
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, assembly has begun on the first of 24 light emitting diode LED panels for installation in the new countdown clock at the spaceport's Press Site. The new modern, multimedia display will be similar to the screens seen at sporting venues. The new screen will be nearly 26 feet wide by 7 feet high, a foot taller than the original clock.
