About this work
A flatbed truck carrying the left-hand forward skirt for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) solid rocket boosters arrives at the Hangar AF facility at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The forward skirt was transported from booster prime contractor Orbital ATK in Promontory, Utah. The forward skirt will be staged in Hangar AF where refurbishment will continue. It will be inspected and prepared for use on the left-hand solid rocket booster for Exploration Mission 1.
