About this work
NOAA's Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite-S (GOES-S) is secured in its payload fairing inside the high bay at Astrotech Space Operations facility in Titusville, Florida. GOES-S will be transported to the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Vertical Integration Facility at Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The payload fairing will be lifted and mated to the ULA Atlas V rocket.
