Brass strips engraved with the names of Craig Covault and George Diller were unveiled during a ceremony at Kennedy Space Center’s NASA News Center in Florida on Friday, May 4. Covault covered approximately 100 space shuttle launches and missions during his 48-year career. Diller was known by many as “The Voice of Kennedy Launch Control” during his 37-year career in NASA Public Affairs.
