Dick Bergmann, far left, original lead designer for the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB); and Phil Moyer, fourth from left, original project lead for the VAB, tour the iconic facility at Kennedy Space Center in Florida with descendants of Max Urbahn, the original architect, on Nov. 22, 2019. The Florida Section American Society of Civil Engineers bestowed its National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark award to the facility.
