About this work
A beautiful sunrise is captured over sand dunes at the beach at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on July 15, 2020. Teams at Kennedy are working on dune restoration efforts, which has included bringing about 450,000 cubic yards of beach-quality sand in to Kennedy’s beaches to build up dunes that have been affected by beach erosion and storm surges.
