About this work
NASA astronaut Michael Hopkins, and spacecraft commander for the agency’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission, participates in an egress training exercise on July 21, 2020, in Florida. The exercise involved simulating an emergency situation after splashdown of the Crew Dragon spacecraft. Mission specialist Shannon Walker and pilot Victor Glover – both NASA astronauts – also participated in the training, along with Soichi Noguchi, mission specialist and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut.
