A view from the Atlas Space Operations Center of the launch of the United Launch Alliance Atlas V 541 rocket from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on July 30, 2020. The Atlas V carried NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover and Ingenuity helicopter for its mission to Mars. Liftoff was at 7:50 a.m. EDT. The Perseverance rover is part of NASA’s Mars Exploration Program, a long-term effort of robotic exploration of the Red Planet.
