NASA Launch Director Charlie Blackwell-Thompson watches the agency’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket with the Orion spacecraft atop a mobile launcher through the windows of Firing Room 1 in the Rocco A. Petrone Launch Control Center as it rolls out of High Bay 3 of the Vehicle Assembly Building to Launch Complex 39B, on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, ahead of the agency’s Artemis I flight test. The fully stacked and integrated SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft is scheduled to liftoff on Monday, Aug. 29.
