JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Koichi Wakata is seated inside the crew suit-up room in the Neil A. Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida during a countdown dress rehearsal on Oct. 2, 2022. Wakata, along with NASA astronauts Josh Cassada and Nicole Aunapu Mann, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina, will launch to the International Space Station on NASA’s SpaceX Crew-5 mission as part of the agency’s Commercial Crew Program.
