Psyche Project Manager Henry Stone, of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, is photographed with the spacecraft by media inside a cleanroom at the Astrotech Space Operations Facility near Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Aug. 11, 2023. Psyche will launch atop a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy to explore a metal-rich asteroid. Launch is targeted for Oct. 5, 2023.
