About this work
A cover, called a “spider” is attached to the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket core stage for NASA’s Artemis II mission inside the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024. Teams with Exploration Ground Systems will use a crane to attach to the spider cover to raise the core stage vertically.
