About this work
The transport carrier containing NASA’s IMAP (Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe) arrives Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Astrotech Space Operations Facility near the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida where it will undergo checkout operations, fueling, and encapsulation. IMAP will study how the Sun shapes the boundaries of the heliosphere, the bubble protecting around our solar system.
