STS-86 Commander James D. Wetherbee, at right, and Mission Specialist Vladimir Georgievich Titov prepare to leave from KSC’s Shuttle Landing Facility after participating in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities. They are returning to Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas, for final prelaunch training. Wetherbee will make his fourth spaceflight on STS-86, and his third as commander. Titov is a cosmonaut with the Russian Space Agency.
