STS-86 Mission Specialist David A. Wolf and friend Tammy Kruse greet family members, friends and other well-wishers during a brief visit to Launch Pad 39A on Sept. 24, the day before the Space Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to lift off with its crew of seven. STS-86 is slated to be the seventh docking of the Space Shuttle with the Russian Space Station Mir. Wolf will be making his second spaceflight. After the docking, Wolf is scheduled to become a member of the Mir 24 crew, replacing U.S.
