STS-94 Pilot Susan L. Still prepares to enter the Space Shuttle Columbia at Launch Pad 39A in preparation for launch. She is the second woman to fly in this capacity on a Space Shuttle. Still is a lieutenant colonel in the Navy and has more than 2,000 flight hours in 30 different types of aircraft. She also holds a master’s degree in aerospace engineering.
