About this work
In the Space Station Processing Facility, STS-100 crew members cosmonauts Sergei Krikalev (left) and Yuri Gidzenko (third from left) plus astronaut Bill Shepherd look over the Z-1 truss along with Dave Moore, Vehicle Integration Test Team (second from left). The Z-1 truss will be used in conjunction with the International Space Station. Krikalev, Gidzenko and Shepherd are scheduled to be launched on a Russian Soyuz spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazahkstan in July 1999.
