About this work
Boeing technicians lower a Control Moment Gyroscope (CMG) into place on the Integrated Truss Structure (ITS) Z1 in the Space Station Processing Facility at KSC. Gyroscopes are used for stabilization of the International Space Station (ISS). The CMG and Z1, part of the construction of the ISS, will be carried on STS-92, the third U.S. flight planned for on-orbit construction of the ISS.
