Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Technicians prepare to remove the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MPLM), the Leonardo, from the canister that carried it from Italy to KSC. Destined for use in constructing the International Space Station (ISS), the module is one of three being provided by Alenia Aerospazio, and will be operated by NASA and supported by ASI, the Italian space agency.
