About this work
During final matches at the 1999 Southeastern Regional robotic competition at the KSC Visitor Complex, referees in opposite corners and student teams watch as two robots raise their pillow disks to a height of eight feet, one of the goals of the competition. Thirty schools from around the country have converged at KSC for the event that pits gladiator robots against each other in an athletic-style competition.
