KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- During emergency egress training at Launch pad 39A, STS-101 Mission Specialists Jeffrey N. Williams and Mary Ellen Weber, Pilot Scott J. "Doc" Horowitz and Commander James D. Halsell Jr. get instruction on using the slidewire basket. The basket would be used in the event the crew needed to exit quickly from the fixed service structure at the 195-foot level.
