KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- During emergency egress training at Launch pad 39A, STS-101 Pilot Scott J. "Doc" Horowitz and Mission Specialist Yury Usachev stand in the slidewire basket at the landing zone. The Safety Egress officer (left on ground) provides training on use of the basket in the event the crew needed to exit quickly from the fixed service structure (background) at the 195-foot level.
