KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- Space Shuttle Discovery waits in the Vehicle Assembly Building for an early morning rollout to Launch Pad 39A. Discovery sits on top of the mobile launcher platform, which in turn rests on top of the crawler-transporter that will carry it to the pad. Discovery is scheduled to launch Oct. 5 at 9:30 p.m. EDT on mission STS-92.
