About this work
In the Operations and Checkout Building, STS-92 Pilot Pamela Ann Melroy has her new launch and entry suit adjusted during fit check. Melroy and the rest of the crew are at KSC for Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities. The TCDT provides emergency egress training, simulated countdown exercises and opportunities to inspect the mission payload. This mission will be Melroy’s first Shuttle flight. STS-92 is scheduled to launch Oct. 5 at 9:38 p.m.
