Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — STS-98 Commander Ken Cockrell, near the nose of the Shuttle Training Aircraft he just landed, makes his way across the parking apron of the Shuttle Landing Facility. The cockpit of the STA is outfitted like the Shuttle, which provides practice at the controls, especially for landing.
