KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. - With the cloud-spotted blue sky as a backdrop, Space Shuttle Discovery stands ready to undergo launch preparations for mission STS-105. At the bottom of the photo is seen the crawler track on the mound. The crawler-transporter that moved the Shuttle from the Vehicle Assembly Building is beginning to back out from under the mobile launcher platform. Discovery is scheduled to launch in early August on mission STS-105.
