Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the payload bay of Atlantis, two workers (background and right) watch STS-98 Robert Curbeam practice work he will do on the U.S. Lab Destiny in space. The mission payload, Destiny is a key element in the construction of the International Space Station. The lab is a pressurized module designed to accommodate pressurized payloads. It has a capacity of 24 rack locations. Payload racks will occupy 13 locations especially designed to support experiments.
