STS-102 Commander James Wetherbee drives the M-113 armored carrier that the crew could use to exit the pad if an emergency ever occurred prior to launch. The STS-102 crew is at KSC to take part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities, which also include a simulated launch countdown. STS-102 is the eighth construction flight to the International Space Station, carrying as payload the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Leonardo.
