STS-102 Mission Specialist Paul Richards has his launch suit checked for fit in the Operations and Checkout Building. The crew is at KSC to take part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities, which include emergency exit from the launch pad and a simulated launch countdown. STS-102 is the eighth construction flight to the International Space Station, carrying as payload the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Leonardo.
